What we keep, plainly.

Your questions and the briefs that came back are stored in your LikeGenius account, tied to your user id, so they are there when you sign in elsewhere. We keep them until you delete them — there is no automatic expiry and no scheduled clear-out. You can read, export or delete any single thread, or all of them, from the Account page; deleting removes the thread and its turns from our systems, and deleting your account removes all of them. If recording is switched off, a question and its brief are shown to you and never written down at all — which also means that conversation cannot be continued later, on any device. If you were using LikeGenius before your record moved into your account, anything saved in that browser stays there until you tell us to move it: we ask once, and you can decline and delete it instead.

Your account (email address, sign-in sessions), your credit balance and payment records, your thinking record as described above, rate-limit counters, abuse reports you submit, the consent log, and per-answer diagnostic records. Those diagnostics hold sizes and identifiers only — how long a question was, how many turns preceded it, which lens and model ran, what it cost and how long it took — never the text of a question or an answer. We also keep a plain count of how many intakes were started and how many reached the price disclosure: a timestamp, which step, and which lens was named. Those rows carry no account, device or network identifier at all, so they cannot be traced to you, and they are the only place we measure how the site is used.

Do not include passwords, financial-account details, identification numbers, confidential company information or another person's private data in a question. This matters more now that a record is kept: write about a colleague's behaviour, not their name and address.

At sign-up you accept the Terms and this policy, confirm you are 18 or older, and choose — unchecked by default — whether to receive marketing email. Each choice, plus the one-time email-verification event from your first successful sign-in code, is stored in an append-only consent log with the document version, timestamp, method and the network address it came from, kept as compliance evidence even if the account is later deleted. When these documents change materially, as they have in this version, you are asked to accept the new version before continuing. Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time from the Account page; sign-in codes and receipts are transactional and always sent.

Questions are processed by LikeGenius and approved AI providers solely to produce your answer, and where you continue a thread, the earlier turns of that thread are sent with it so the answer can follow the conversation. Nothing you write is used to train our models or anyone else's, is sold, or is used for behavioural advertising. We do not send your record to a provider for any purpose other than answering the question in front of it.

Recording can be switched off entirely from the Account page, which stops anything being written down. Export gives you your record as a file. Deletion is real deletion, not hiding: the rows go.
